June 25, 26, 28, 29: Deploying a Large Scale Site using WordPress


The DigitalFilipino.com Club will be having a workshop on "Deploying a Large Scale Site using WordPress" this June 25, 26, 28 and 29, 2012 from 9 am to 4:30 pm at Room 207, Ateneo De Manila University, #20 Rockwell Drive, Rockwell Center, Makati City. 

Target participants are entrepreneurs and web developers who would like to learn how to deploy a large scale site using WordPress. Large scale site, for this training scope, are sites that have no less than 1 million page views a month.

DigitalFilipino Club Members are entitled to the following free slots:
  • Corporate member - 2 slots and can attend the whole training 
  • SME member - 1 slot and can attend the whole training
  • Individual member - 1 day session (not transferrable). Discounted rate of P2,000 per day for the remaining days.
  • Non-members can attend this 4-days workshop for P12,000. (pay through Paypal) 
  • For one-day only, the fee is P3,000 per day.

This workshop will discuss:
  1. Planning your site components
  2. WordPress installation and set-up
  3. Plug-ins management
  4. Securing your WordPress site
  5. Server management
Participants are requested to bring their own laptop. The venue has wi-fi Internet access. However, bringing of back-up Internet access gadget is encouraged. Note that food is not included in this training.
